Chun Yi joined the Kardia Lab in the summer of 2007. Before coming to the Lab, she worked on two projects, Genetic Polymorphisms in Three Generations of Urban African American Women, and the Hypertension and Heredity Follow-up Study, with Dr. Jackie Taylor at the UM School of Nursing. Her research interests include the genetics of cardiovascular disease in vulnerable populations, especially African-Americans. Currently, she is involved in the GENOA study.

Chun Yi enjoys cooking (especially Taiwanese food), and loves to invite friends over to her house to enjoy her cooking. Also, she likes swimming, singing, traveling, and going to the movies.
