Alyssa is a University of Michigan graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and sub-concentrations in law and inequality. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Community Counseling at Eastern Michigan University. Alyssa brings over ten years of administrative experience to her position. She has worked in numerous office settings such as Washtenaw Community College's Adult Transitions and Guidance and Counseling Center.

Alyssa has a secretarial position with Toby Citrin's group, supporting Sally Meyer. Her responsibilities include procuring supplies, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, maintaining databases and list servs, preparing presentations, posters, brochures, reports and other documents, maintaining websites, and other research related support. Alssya earned a B.A. in Sociology from UM and is currently working on graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling. Her previous administrative experience includes four years in the Adult Transitions and Guidance and Counseling offices of Washtenaw Community College (WCC). At WCC Alyssa managed GED testing, planned graduation ceremonies and other events, processed payroll, procured goods and services, and organized and managed various projects. She worked extensively with students, prospective students, faculty and staff. In addition, Alyssa has about five years of office experience with local companies where she provided customer service and administrative support.
